§ 3.20.085. Preference for local vendors.

Whenever competitive bids are solicited and received for the purchase of supplies and equipment pursuant to Sections 3.20.090 through 3.20.200 of this chapter, vendors with an established place of business within the city limits of Anderson shall be considered to have bid one percent less than the actual quote for purposes of comparing prices only. Prices, fitness, quality and service being equal, preference will be given to the local proposer.
