§ 17.52.020. Intent and purpose.

Manufactured housing is a part of the solution for meeting the housing needs of the residents of the city. It is the intent of the city council to widen the opportunities for the placement of manufactured homes within areas zoned for single-family dwellings. It is the further intent of the council that any such manufactured homes are designed and sited so as to be harmonious with surrounding conventionally built homes. Commensurate with these intentions, the purpose of this chapter is to set forth the conditions and processes by which manufactured homes may be placed on lots in areas zoned for single-family dwellings.
