§ 13.32.030. Temporary connections—Deposit—Amount.

  • The applicant shall make a cash deposit with the finance office before issuance of a permit for a temporary water service connection. The cash deposit shall equal the estimated cost of installing and removing the facilities necessary to provide the service, including the value of the materials and the cost of water estimated to be used during the entire period of service. The deposit shall be no less than five hundred dollars.

    The applicant shall be charged a fee as established by resolution of the city council for installation and removal of the temporary service, a rental fee as established by resolution of the city council, and water rates for the quantity of water used based upon Section 13.68.010.
